Running out of fresh food sucks, but when you live on a sailboat it happens all the time. So we prepare by stocking the pantry and we’re forced to get creative.

We’re sailing around one of the most remote archipelagos in the world. Our fresh food stock is down to a couple of bendy carrots and a few cloves of garlic.

Nikki has several go-to meals that require no fresh foods, but they’re still tasty (according to us). Each week we get more than a few dozen requests for recipes, so we hope this one tickles your taste buds.

Join us as we sail to Fakarava while Nikki whips up some grub and mother nature stirs up a storm! A little sailing, a lotta cooking, one massive squall and a relaxing sunrise. Life at sea can be such a rollercoaster!
